Connection Set Algebra Showcase

Added by Padraig Gleeson over 11 years ago

A Technology Showcase project has been added to illustrate some of the features of the "Connection Set Algebra":http://software.incf.org/software/csa library, and how it can interact with NeuroML & PyNN.

See "here":http://www.opensourcebrain.org/projects/csashowcase for more details.

Nengo & NeuroML

Added by Padraig Gleeson over 11 years ago

A project has been added to start to investigate the possible interactions between NeuroML & "Nengo":http://nengo.ca, see Nengo - NeuroML interoperability.

While it is early days, this will make it easier to encode large scale neural and cognitive models such as "Spaun":http://www.sciencemag.org/content/338/6111/1202 into standardised formats and exchange components with other simulators.

Major update to OSB website

Added by Padraig Gleeson almost 12 years ago

A major update of the look and feel of the OSB website is under way.

Some elements of the old site may be cached in your browser, so please try reloading the page.

We welcome any feedback on: info@opensourcebrain.org

Moving projects to GitHub

Added by Padraig Gleeson about 12 years ago

A number of project sources have been migrated from Mercurial based repositories on the OSB site to GitHub repositories, e.g.

https://github.com/OpenSourceBrain/SolinasEtAl-GolgiCell
https://github.com/OpenSourceBrain/CA1PyramidalCell

This is to facilitate greater branching/forking of projects as enabled by GitHub.

More news on this when the move to the new server (and www.opensourcebrain.org, not 8080) is complete

Guides and Themes

Added by Padraig Gleeson over 12 years ago

New links to Guides (tutorials on the use of various aspects of OSB functionality) and Themes (gathering information on related projects, e.g. of a specific brain region) have been added to the main menu on top of each OSB page.

Comments and suggestions for new Guides/Themes are welcome.
