Installing and running the model
--------------------------------

Install [PyNN](http://neuralensemble.org/trac/PyNN/wiki/Installation), along with your chosen supported simulator(s).

[Install Git](http://www.opensourcebrain.org/projects/gitintro/wiki/Wiki) and type: Type:

git clone https://github.com/OpenSourceBrain/Brunel2000.git git://github.com/OpenSourceBrain/Brunel2000.git
cd Brunel2000/PyNN

Depending on your simulator type:

python brunel.py nest

or

python brunel.py neuron

or

python brunel.py brian
