Description
This repository contains the TimeScales framework, which is used to run a Multiscale Model of the Medium Spiny Neuron of the Neostriatum, integrating electrical signalling with biochemical pathways.
This model has been described in a recent publication: Integration of Biochemical and Electrical Signaling-Multiscale Model of the Medium Spiny Neuron of the Striatum, Michele Mattioni & Nicolas Le Novère, PLoS One, 2013
Status
The conversion of this model to NeuroML has not yet begun. However, elements of the model can be exported from NEURON into NeuroML v1.x using the standard export features in that simulator.
